FIFA 2024 Annual Football Law Conference
PZCR Legal was following all the presentations and panels at the 2024 FLAR over the two days of the event. And we have distilled the most relevant content and takeaways in two separate documents that we have made available online
Day 1
The first day of the FIFA 2024 Annual Football Law Conference was notable for the high standard of the presentations. The main focus was on a general analysis of the international football regulatory landscape, such as regulatory developments for 2023, draft regulations for 2024 and practical advice on football transfers (transfer price, sell-on clauses, penalty clauses, etc.).
The first year of the FIFA Clearing House was also reviewed, as well as an introduction to the disciplinary system in English football.
Finally, the fundamental role of the economic-financial sustainability rules of European clubs was highlighted and an analysis of the current state of play of the procedures related to the new FIFA agents regulation was presented.

Day 2
On the second day of the FIFA Football Law Annual Review 2024 the main topics discussed have been: global football transfer picture in 2023; key tax issues involved in football transfers; and Swiss Federal Tribunal decisions on action for annulment against CAS awards in 2023.
Together with those of the first day, they make great reading for those involved in football law.
