We will participate in the new leading authority on sport and taxation in Spain

Luis Toribio, Of Counsel of PZCR Legal, will play a relevant role in the new leading authority on sport taxation together with the principal Spanish experts in the field (such as professors José Manuel Sánchez Santos and José Luis Carretero Lestón; and the law firms Uría Menéndez, BAKER MCKENZIE, PwC, KPMG, CUATRECASAS, EY ABOGADOS and Deloitte).

Luis will be part of the teams dealing with the following topics:

• Tax aspects of international transfers of professional athletes and contract management in the professional field.
• Concept of sportsmen and sportswomen under the law on income tax of non-residents and in the conventions to avoid double international taxation.
• Tax residence of athletes and tax optimization options.
• Preferential regimes in international competitions.

Luis will coordinate the work on the latter two.
