José Páez admitted to the Paris Bar as Avocat à la cour
In November 2025, José Páez was sworn in as a lawyer of the Paris Bar
On 24 November 2025, following the successful completion of the bar admission examinations in November 2024, our partner José Páez completed the registration process with the Paris Bar (Barreau de Paris), of which he has since been an admitted practising member residing abroad.
The swearing-in ceremony took place between the Paris Court of Appeal and the renamed Paris Economic Activities Court (Tribunal des Activités Économiques de Paris, formerly known as the Tribunal de Commerce (Commercial Court)).
With his admission to the Paris Bar, José Páez completes a journey that began nearly ten years ago, when he first became involved in matters with a significant French law component. This milestone also reinforces the clearly international profile and orientation of PZCR Legal, and in particular of José Páez’s practice, notably in the areas of arbitration and international contracting.
José Páez’s admission as a French lawyer adds to his qualifications as a Solicitor of England & Wales and as a member of the Madrid Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid).
