Once again, the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club brought together more than 500 attendees at its congress in Madrid, now in its 19th edition.
The round tables at the Congress, whose main theme was ‘The “time” factor in international arbitration’, addressed issues such as the effect of res judicata in international arbitration and pre- and post-award interest in arbitration in the various round tables organised, and also discussed whether the timing of arbitration satisfies its users and whether arbitration is withstanding the vicissitudes of time.
The Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA) is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote arbitration and other methods of dispute resolution in Spanish and Portuguese. The CEIA has more than 1,400 members in 43 countries and has 31 international chapters.
