In this article, prepared by PZCR Legal, SLP, which is also managing the legal department at the Ibero-American Association of Football Coaches, the rules regulating access to football coaching profession at international level are analysed.
The increasing professionalisation of the coaching staff and the role of the football coach has prompted international football bodies to develop more detailed and specific regulations for these professionals.
The article also clarifies the types of coaching licences issued by the different football confederations, as well as the requirements for the courses that need to be completed to obtain these licences.
